inspired by our recent travels around Japan we bring you three new limited edition flavors:
pyramides [ginger lemongrass]
a spicy caramel with intense ginger flavor, complemented by a fresh touch of lemongrass
solférino [black sesame]
our classic smooth caramel packed with the nutty flavor of toasted black sesame seeds
yoyogi [yuzu bergamot]
a refreshing blend of exotic citrus with nuggets of candied yuzu, topped with peppery yuzu sansho herbs
all our caramels are named after Parisian metro stops. the new ginger lemongrass flavor gets its name from the Pyramides station, which is only steps from rue St. Anne, home to many Japanese restaurants and shops, including our favorite udon spot. a traditional black and white tiled cafe near Solférino was the inspiration behind black sesame's name. and finally, we decided to honor our japanese hosts by giving the yuzu bergamot flavor the cute name of their local subway stop in Tokyo.
